We’re Always On The Hunt For New Talent!

The story begins in 2016. Our talented co-founders knew each other from the affiliate marketing industry and liked each other’s style. They wanted to build a business that could take on the biggest brands in the industry and needed a strong name to symbolise this vision. The daughter of one of the founders suggested “Thimba”. According to the children’s story that inspired it, Thimba means “lion hunter” in Swahili.

Thimba Media was born with just a handful of people spread across several countries. We created a base in Waterford, Ireland, with three members of staff, faulty heating and a ping pong table. Over the course of a few years the company has grown enormously. With that growth came the development of a company culture that embraces creativity, collaboration and dedication, balanced with a healthy dose of fun.
